'Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf' is the first part:

He kills Jenny by choking her and throwing her body into the sea because of her infidelity... - 'Jenny Was A Friend of Mine' is the third part:
He's been caught and is defending himself by lying to the police. "There ain't no motive for this crime; Jenny was a friend of mine." He tells the police he wouldn't kill her because she was his friend so he explains with: "She couldn't scream while I held I close/I swore I'd never let her go." but when he sings it live he says "She kicked and screamed while I held her throat".
